Want to know a little secret? Even though I might look like a great big monster, I am really a gentle little pussycat inside. In fact, it wasn’t so long ago that I was just a puppy! My name’s Yukon, and I’m a two year old purebred English Mastiff. I’m what you might call a GENTLE GIANT. Not a mean drop of blood in me. I just adore people of all ages, especially kids. I also love to hang out with cats and other dogs of any size. In fact, at my foster home, I have been living for several months with a cat, three other Mastiffs and six Chihuahuas!

When I first came into foster care, I was so starved, I would eat anything and everything! One of the stuffed animals I ate disagreed with me, so I had to have a little surgery to get it out of me. But that’s all in the past now, and I feel great, inside and out. And now that I know I get to eat twice a day, every day, I don’t feel the need to stock up on random stuff lying around the house. Those days are over and the future is looking mighty good. I’m gonna live LARGE from now on! Got all my vaccinations, am neutered and microchipped. I just love riding in the car and visiting friends, and I’m learning how to walk on a leash.
