PET CONNECTION ADOPTION DAY and OPEN HOUSE AT THE ANIMAL HOSPITAL

This is going to be a special day for all ! We are planning on having 12 rescue groups and shelters in attendance. Many have indicated that they will reduce their adoption fees on cats for this special day !
All who adopt or fill out applications to adopt, will receive a complimentary canvas tote bag filled with pet related items and a certificate for $75 in free health care at the Animal Hospital.
This event will be catered by our good friends at Creo (http://www.creorestaurant.com)
and Bountiful Bread(http://www.bountifulbread.com). All who stop by the adoption clinic or the hospital are welcome. This will also be your opportunity to have a tour of the state of the art Hospital. You'll be able to see where Laparoscopic surgery is done……visit with a Bald Eagle in the eagle flight cage and meet the newest member of the team, Dr. Melinda Schwoegler. All of you who take this tour will receive a gift bag full of pet care products and a certificate for a free exam to any new client at the hospital.
We will have two special guest to make your adoption even more memorable. Free of charge, there will be profession photographer Pat Becker who will take a portrait of you and your new adoption. Natalie J. Tal, a professional caricature artist will be creating complimentary artwork of you and your new pet all day ! The Grooming Gallery will also be in attendance to "pretty up" any adopted pet at no cost.
There will also be many great vendors to help out and offer discount coupons for services or just help you out with advice: The Invisible Fence Company (http://northernny.invisiblefence.com/home.asp), Benson's Pet Center (http://www.bensonspet.com).
There will be many great raffles to help raise money for Pet Connection……A gift basket from Benson's full of goodies for dogs and cats……..A great candy spread from Krauses Candy(http://www.krausescandy.com/) and much more ! I will have free pictures to autograph along with other Pet Connections souvenirs from past years.
The GRAND prize (which will be free to enter to all who attend our event) will be to spend a day with me at work preparing the weather and to help out with Pet Connection. After the news we will head over to Central Steak (1632 Central Ave Colonie….formerly Butcher Block) for a great night of dinner and conversation.
This is your opportunity to find that special pet and give them a second chance at life. You will also have the unique opportunity to see what is behind those doors at The Animal Hospital. This is a rare chance to see the amazing care your pet will receive with Dr. Ed Becker and his staff.

for supplying a big tent for some of us just in case it rains. They were awesome during my Backyard BBQ's this season ! By the way…if the weather is bad (needs to be raining pretty hard), the rain date is Aug. 15th.
