Lost or Found Animals

STOLEN - MANCHESTER, CT - Spike.

Friday 01/02/09 at approx 9:00 pm a car was stolen out of the Chili's Parking lot on Buckland Street in Manchester Ct while they ran in to get take out. In that car was Linda's beloved Chihuahua, Spike. He was last seen wearing a Black & White striped sweater and a black collar. Spike is small male, 3 - 5 lbs. Tan, big ears, timid. Linda's burgandy 1994 Ford Explorer was found at a gas station off of Rte 2 in Marlborough, CT around 3:00 AM, but Spike was not in there. A Toyota Camry was then stolen from the same gas station at the same time the explorer was found.

Bikers Against Animal Cruelty, Inc. (B.A.A.C.) is putting up a $500 reward for the safe return of Spike! If Spike is found, contact Linda the owner (860) 454-7628 (Home); (860) 778-4381 (Cell)

LOST - WEST HAVEN, CT - Cherokee

The dog is a sheltie named Cherokee. He is about 16-18 inches tall at the head and is about 25 lbs. He is not fixed. He is sable and white in color. He was lost in West Haven on 12/2 at about 8 am. He does not know his surrounding as he was just there for one night. He is playful but very timid around those he does not know. He is quite submissive around other dogs as well. LOST - Tarzan

9 yr old blk lab lost on Tuesday, 11/11/08. His name is Tarzan
and he is a large male. He had an electric fence collar on him. He left my yard going through the electric fence. I live outside of Averill Park off of Rt 43 heading east. Our address is 187 South Road, Averill Park, NY. My phone number is 766-5558. Tarzan has a fatty deposit on his chest and has some graying around his mouth. He is a very big boy w/a large squarish head. We have a 10 year old golden who is lost without him. I have two children, 14 and 12 year old daughters and my husband and I have walked our property (16 acres) and driven around and placed flyers in mailboxes. He has never stayed away from home overnight before. We have an electric fence around five acres so both dogs were always safe and content to stay home. I am
worried sick!
