My owners left me at the shelter because I am what you might call a “Special Needs” dog. They didn’t want to deal with my partial blindness and my little dribble issue. So they gave me up and moved on with their lives. And so, I will move on with mine; it’s all I can do. Back then, my name was, “Lady.” But now, in my new life, I have chosen the name, “Lady Gaga.” And like my namesake, I am proud of who I am, just the way I am. No excuses, no apologies. I AM Lady Gaga!
I am a 10-year-old purebred toy poodle with a damaged spine from a difficult past. One of my eyes works a little bit, and so does my bladder. And even though I am housebroken, I occasionally have a little “leakage” issue that creates an occasional dribble on the floor. But my brilliant foster family has learned how to deal with this by helping me wear the most stylish denim shorts with special pads to catch the embarrassing little leaks.
I suppose to some, I may look frail. At only 6.1lbs, I am still a bit underweight. But don’t be deceived by appearances. I am vivacious, up to date on my shots, spayed, microchipped, a great little communicator and a great fan of outdoor recreation. My preference is to march around the yard and read p-mail, and to leave a little message or two of my own in the process.
