Do I like squeaky toys? Oh, you betcha! And snacks? Oh, you betcha! Car rides? You betcha! Diggin’ holes? Playin’ chase with other dogs? Sniffin’ p-mail? Oh, you betcha, you betcha, you betcha, YOU BETCHA!! In my three years of livin’, I’ve learned that there aren’t too many things I don’t like, once I get warmed up and get my bearings. Howdy! My name’s Jimmer, what’s yours?
Me & my brother, Jojo, used to live in the mountains in Virginia. Our owners took us to the shelter, because they couldn’t afford to keep us. And some nice ladies down there sent us north to foster care in New York. The nights are colder here, but the folks are pretty nice. They let Jojo and me stay in the same foster home together, and we like that just fine. Jojo’s a little shy of new things and new places, so I’m what you call his emotional support right now. That’s my job as his brother, y’know.
I’m whatcha call a Pekepug: half Pekingese, half Pug. I’ve got the long body and underbite of a Peke and the short coat and perky little ears of a Pug. And although I’m only about 10lbs. of dog, I’ve got a hundred pounds of personality. I’ll bark to let you know company’s comin’ and I’ll tell strangers to watch out or else. But once I know they’re cool, I’ll welcome them with dancin’ and kissin’ and a giant-sized smile. Folks say because of my heritage, I still look like a puppy, and I probably always will. Aint that somethin’?

I’m neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and crate trained. I’m learnin’ some Yankee manners and I’ve just about got the whole housebreaking thing licked. With my short coat, I’m an easy-keeper. No fancy groomin’ for me, nosirree! Just the basics is all I need. Then it’s off for more playin’ and chasin’ and fun, fun, fun!
Am I waitin’ to share my squeaky toy with you?
