Portly little gentleman with a nose
for hunting; healthy, happy, life of
the party. That’s me, Dill
Pickle, a purebred little
neutered male beagle who enjoys
nothing so much as I do making
friends, chasing squirrels and
swimming in the pool. These days,
at 35lbs, I suppose you could say
I’m a little heavy for my frame. But
with a little exercise, I know I can
trim right down and get back to my
ideal build…….and then watch out,
ladies, ‘cuz I reeeaaalllly know how
to work the room. |
I lived with my original Mom for all my 10 years,
and we had a pretty cool life together. It was a
match made in heaven, really. She gave me the
best of everything. But now Mom’s health has had
to take center stage and she can’t get around like
she used to. So we’re not getting out to walk and
explore anymore. Mom has to focus on her own
special needs now, so she asked The Animal
Support Project to find me a home where the folks
get outdoors more……maybe a place in the country
where the fenced yard is interesting, and the trash
can is securely lidded….I AM all Beagle, after all.
I’m up to date on shots, microchipped, great in the
car and swell in the home, as long as I can get my
regular outs. I like cats, dogs and people of all shapes
and sizes. I just need a little more opportunity to get
out and socialize like I used to. Since I’m such a nice
little guy, I’d probably make a great therapy dog or a
fine little reading companion for kids. Life is yummy
and it’s meant to be shared, don’t you think?
